Search Engine Roundtable and Search Engine Land both point to the February 2026 Discover core update finishing Feb 27, 2026, with Discover leaning harder toward local relevance, original reporting, and less clickbait (US-English first).
Action: audit any “partner content” sections, prune thin pages, and watch Discover traffic separately from Search.
